My ideal client is someone carrying a lot—maybe more than they’ve ever said out loud. They might be a caregiver who feels the mix of love, exhaustion, guilt, and grief that comes with showing up for someone every day. They may be an older adult navigating the complex transitions of aging, searching for stability, dignity, and a place where their voice is fully heard. They could be going through the loss of something, or someone (animals too!), meaningful to them, and struggling to put one foot in front of the other. Or they may be a student or young adult balancing stress, identity, and expectations, someone with ADHD/ADD trying to make sense of their mind, or a person facing depression, anxiety, or grief who simply wants a space where they don’t have to be “strong” all the time.
What all of these clients have in common is a deep desire for support, understanding, and relief. They want to feel seen and valued. They want tools, not judgment. They want someone steady in their corner while they figure out what healing looks like for them.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the Warner School of Education at the University of Rochester, and I’ve spent the last several years specializing in geriatric and caregiver mental health—work that is very personal to me. My own experiences with caregiving and Alzheimer’s disease shaped the compassion, patience, and advocacy I bring into every session.
I blend different psychotherapy approaches depending on what each individual needs. I often work from a person-centered lens, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy when helpful. I also draw from gestalt therapy, interpersonal therapy, and DBT. I believe each person’s story is beautifully unique, so therapy should never be one-size-fits-all.
My approach is holistic:
Whether someone needs deep psychotherapy, guidance with caregiving challenges, help navigating aging, strategies for ADHD/ADD, or simply a compassionate ear—their needs are valid, welcomed, and met with care.
If you’re reading this and feeling even a small spark of recognition—like part of your story lives here—I want you to know you’re not alone. Whatever you’re carrying, whatever stage of life you’re in, you deserve support that honors your strength and your humanity.
You deserve a place where you can exhale.
My goal is to walk beside you, to honor your lived experience, and to help you build the tools you need to navigate your world with confidence and self-compassion. You have a say in your care, your boundaries, your healing, and your story—at any age, and in any chapter of life.
When you’re ready, I’m here.
Reach out, and let’s take those next steps together.
My goal is to create a space where you can feel safe, understood, and supported while working through life’s challenges.
My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth. I draw from approaches like IFS, ACT, CBT, and art therapy to help you explore patterns, build insight, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that feel stuck or overwhelmed.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, identity concerns, and life transitions. Therapy with me is a place to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and move toward lasting change at your own pace.
